Thoughts About Connect
It’s been a little under two years since I first bought golf clubs and looking back at some of my old notes, I really don’t know how much better I am than I was then. My 2022 goal was to break 100. I did that once. My 2023 goal… didn’t have one, but I’ve only broken 100 once this year as well. It always feels like I’m on the cusp of consistency, and then things fall apart. On the positive, the rebound time is much shorter now than it used to be.
Learning this stuff later in life sure has been a challenge. I definitely want my kids to learn early. It’s not quite the same, but I can’t remember a time when I couldn’t swim. I want our kids to have that same experience with golf. And also with a second language. These things skills , you can give them early and they can reap the benefits for a lifetime.
