Thoughts About Connect
I’m an introvert, which I loosely interpret as my battery usually drains from social interactions and then needs to recharge alone. This is usually the case.
Right now, there are about 40 people in Lisbon for an entrepreneurial weekend meetup and we’re getting together for different activities: happy hour, beach day, dinners, etc.
The events are fun, but they are a backdrop for interaction and conversation. Stimulating conversation that makes me think. Opens me up to new perspectives. Makes me challenge my own points of view.
And it is draining... but it’s the best kind of drain there is. It’s the kind of drain that feels worth it.
It’s a drain that leaves me tired, but inspired. Inspired and motivated to do more.
It reminds me that I need to find more of these types of drains in my life.
This piece captures my thoughts and perspectives at the time of writing. As I continue to learn and grow, my views are subject to change, without notice.
