Thoughts About Connect
I always found it funny that when someone asked about our old business, they’d ask how many people we had. They’re trying to get an idea of the scale, which is fair. And to be honest, there probably weren’t many other metrics we would say. I remember the difference in people’s faces when I said we have 4 people vs 25. It’s meaningful. But the number of employees isn’t really an indicator of the health of the business. I know a lot of companies who over hire and then end up firing people because they weren’t managing cash flow.
