Thoughts About Connect
I come up with these simple little tools/sites/projects/ideas pretty often and am getting better and better at jotting them down. I figure I’d just start posting them, as it will either inspire me to actually do one or inspire someone else to build them (with me as partner of course :). Most of these are really just things I wish already existed… Idea
A simple site/tool to see which beach is the best to go to around Lisbon. This is a need because the wind direction on a given day can have quite the impact on the enjoyability of the beach.
I know there are sites for surfing that can give this info, but I really just want a simple tool to be able to wake up and it say, this is the best one. Could also incorporate traffic as a parameter.
Idea
We’re just about to start collecting address and it blows my mind that Minted don’t have a simple online form to send to people for address collection. Their blog says use google forms (which we are unfortunately having to do)
Postable has one, but it’s slightly wonky and doesn’t use Google’s address validation, which makes it super easy to just start typing your address and have it auto fill the rest.
